This photo captures our home this morning from the curb; we haven't quite gotten around to shovelling yet this morning! Mom is the only one doing anything productive right now as she busily packs and prepares for her long treck back to Colorado. We're going to celebrate our momentous birthdays (30 and 50!) a little early this year with a tasty barbeque meal at Famous Daves this evening. That will be my main event of the day, besides preparing meal items for Easter dinner with the Werners in Hamburg tomorrow.
John has been enjoying his Spring Break this week, although he did have a bit of a set back with a stomach virus he had for a few days (which I hate to reveal was a gift from me). He's on the mend, though. One of his big events this week was driving down to Des Moines with Dave and Michael to pick up Jessica on her way back to college. She had been on choir tour for a week and now has a few days to spend with her family to celebrate Easter. We got the chance to hear a moving performance of her choir in Hutchinson last week.
My big event was spending Palm Sunday weekend with my Grandma and Grandpa Lundstrom and Kansas City Hansons in Lindsborg, Kansas. My main reason for going was to hear Grandma sing in her 50th or 51st performance of the Messiah! It was beautiful. My kind Uncle David and Aunt Lori with beautiful cousins, Clara and Addie, picked me up from the airport in Kansas City and drove me down to Lindsborg with them to celebrate together.
We pray you each have a blessed Easter with those who are dear to you as we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior.
