We just enjoyed a relaxing weekend with the Werner grandparents. They covered Ben duty so John could attend his conference on Friday, and then we trotted off to the apple orchard on Saturday. Saturday turned out to be beautiful and sunny, much nicer than we had anticipated. Ben also had the chance to enjoy his first hay ride and mini tractor ride with Grandpa! That evening we wound down with delicious comfort food, including Emma Crumbe's apple crisp, and a good book with Grandma.
