Jon and Colleen were finally wed yesterday in Hamburg! It was fun to be back in the church where John grew up and a little lonely without John's family. We miss you!
All in all, the ceremony went well, everyone looked gorgeous, and I think a good time was had. Ben even slept through the ceremony, meaning I got to stay seated through the whole service! John stood next to the best man, Brian, and oversaw video recording of the ceremony.
After a brief visit to the local bar with the wedding party (I snacked on popcorn), we drove off to the reception. Ben discovered lots of little girls in pretty dresses who just adored him, and he kept seeking them out through the night. He had a big day and night of playing with, walking with, and holding hands with lots of little ones. I think he loved the attention and really enjoyed being around people a little closer to his height! Once he made it to his car seat for the trip home, he rubbed his eyes briefly and dropped out for a long, hard sleep.
Ben and Ian, the ring bearer. Ben sought him out and walked all over the church with him -- prior to the wedding.

A rare photo opp. without Ben. He had discovered the new church playground!
