It's been a while since the last update. A sweet co-worker requested to take photos of Ben and Kahtya last weekend, and she's been adding them daily to facebook over this past week. I'm including some of my favorites here.Today was a simply lovely day -- I don't believe it got over 70 degrees all day. Lots of time was spent in the garden pulling weeds. I even got to enjoy a long walk and coffee with my good friend, Beth, this afternoon. Top all that off with a clean kitchen and a day that didn't start til 7am, and it was a GOOD day. God, thank you for restful weekends.
John started his new job as Marriott night security last weekend, and it's already an improvement from the Target night shift. His big excitement was when the hotel lost power FIVE times last weekend, and a guy got stuck in an elevator for two hours. The bummer is he's on his feet all night; he just picked up some shoe inserts today that we hope will make tonight a little more comfortable.
