Benjamin the Toddler

It's official; Benjamin is now a toddler. He started walking this past week and is now toddling around more than crawling! I think his knees thank him.

We had a fun week with my Mom and David. David joined us for a few days before he had to get back to work, but not before helping John replace 6 feet of broken pipe in our basement. Phew! Thank you.

Of course we also had to celebrate the little Ben's birthday on Thursday. He celebrated with chicken off the grill, potatoes, and broccoli (he loves it), followed by his first chocolate cupcake. He was at first distracted by the feel of the cupcake and frosting as he squished it and patted it, but once he realized it was tasty as well as entertaining, he went to town.

All in all, a lovely week was had and sped by quickly! We hardly remembered to take pictures, but here are a few, followed by some video by John.
