What a blessing when Spring finally comes! I drove home from work one afternoon this week and realized the snow is all gone! And bonus: it's Bach's birthday today, so there has been fabulous music on Minnesota Public Radio this morning.
We Werners enjoyed the coming of Spring this week. We finally went on a walk together on St. Patty's Day, and then John took some video of our little Ben playing with his toys. It is currently sunny and almost 50 outside.
Ben is now clapping his hands, a feat that brings him endless thrills. He also stood once, hands free, for 2 seconds. I didn't get to see it, but I know I will ultimately see it, too! He also tried and enjoyed yogurt for the first time this week. John had a little fun painting his face with it... Ben also likes looking out the window and watching cars and birds pass by. But he still seems happiest standing or walking holding on to our hands.
John created a few videos of our sweet son on St. Patty's Day evening. Ben is now 9 months old, and his favorite things to do include pulling to stand at just about everything, including my leg, watching cars and birds outside the front window, and talking during the sermon Wednesday evenings. And we can't omit the universal loves of eating and sleeping -- he likes those, too.

Oh, and the lovely new blog layout? Courtesy of my creative pal, Tiffany, again.
And finally, some new video:
